Hello, I met you at Rakkasah on Sunday, I was in red dancing to Abdel Hafiz at 1:30, you gave me your card. I love your site, I am so anxious to see what you shot of me. Also I had no idea that you took the great pictures of my teacher Cory Zamora, small world.
Nice site! I found it after seeing your videos on youtube site. You're quite a photographer, too, I see. Keep up the good work. It's a beautiful dance form that I don't get to do enough of myself, but I enjoy it.

Hi Sharif, I recently started taking Belly Dancing classes and Rakkasa was by first B/D I attended. As you can imagine I was blown away. I also recently added Rakkasa to my tribe list and that is how I found about you; your recent posting regarding your Rakkasa photos. Well I love the photos and your web site. It makes me very happy to know there is male in the bay area; (I guess Santa Cruz is still considere as being in the bay area) that is so involved in the Belly dancing scene. I am sorry I missed your performance; did not know the names of Rakkasa Male performer; other than Jim Boz. I will check out future events and will try to attend one where you will be performing.
